Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in America. Anna Gunn is an American actor. As well as playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward as well, she was a part of The Practice. Born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love acting at the age of Preparatory School when her family moved to Ohio in the late 1970's. She was a theatre student at Northwestern University and spent a year at the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her career as a Chicago-based theatre actor for a few years. Then she moved into film and TV. In 1992 Anna found her first big character in the role of Arden in 29 episodes in the series Down the Shore. She continued to appear as an actor in number of television shows and films including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue till the latter part of the 90's when she was cast on a regular basis in The Practice as Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons. In 2008, she was cast in the role of Skyler as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Gunn also appeared in the Deadwood movie as well as Sully. Gunn has also appeared on scene in David Swimmer's show Sex With Strangers. She also appeared in Numbered Days, a show comprised of four audio dramas. The relationship of Walter White and his wife Skyler tends to be the central theme of the tale on Breaking Bad with the strained pull on their relationship as well as its eventual collapse similar to the arc that was Walter White's final days of his life.
